43rd Annual Energy Mineral Law Institute

Tim McGranor, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office, was a co-chair of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation’s (EMLF) 43rd Annual Institute.  The 2022 event was held in Amelia Island, Florida on June 12-14, 2022.  As co-chair, McGranor helped oversee the programming and other important functions of the event. The institute consisted of networking events and continuing legal education on topical issues including energy market updates, labor and employment developments, ethics and the latest information on carbon capture.

Ryan Elliott, an associate in the Vorys Columbus office, spoke at the institute. Elliott and the president of the Stream and Wetlands Foundation spoke about Waters of the United States (WOTUS), its history and its current interpretations.
