The Audit: Trilogy Part II: Preparing For and Surviving a Health and Welfare Audit

Vorys Partner Christine Poth was a panel speaker for the program titled, “The Audit: Trilogy Part II: Preparing For and Surviving a Health and Welfare Audit” hosted by the American Bar Association Joint Committee on Employee Benefits on April 19, 2016.  The panel discussed requirements of ERISA and the ACA applicable to health and welfare plans, described a typical audit, reviewed an audit letter, described ways to use technology to communicate with employees and provided practical insight based upon actual ACA audits.
