Overview

Michael is an associate in the Vorys Cleveland office and a member of the finance, energy and real estate group.

He is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on commercial real estate and mergers and acquisitions.

Michael regularly assists with the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, including the drafting, negotiating and review of documents related to commercial real estate acquisitions, construction and dispositions, including purchase and sale agreements, due diligence reports, ancillary agreements, schedules, closing checklists, and title and survey analysis.  He also drafts, negotiates and reviews commercial and residential leases.

He assists clients with all stages of acquisitions, including purchase and sale agreements, due diligence reports, ancillary agreements, schedules, closing checklists and more.  He also assists clients with general business matters, including the formation, conversion and dissolution of business entities, advises on entity structure and drafts organizational documents for various legal entities.

Michael received his J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.  He  also received his MBA from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management and his bachelor of economics from Kenyon College.

Michael is an associate board member at both Values in Action and the West Side Catholic Center, charitable organizations in the Cleveland area.
