Overview

Spencer is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the firm’s finance group.  Her practice is primarily focused on commercial finance matters, representing both lenders and large corporate borrower clients in a variety of secured and unsecured financing transactions including syndicated facilities, asset-based lending facilities, acquisition financings, leveraged ESOPs, securitizations and mezzanine financings.

In addition, Spencer also represents financial institutions and corporate end-users in connection with derivative transactions under the ISDA Master Agreement, including the drafting and negotiation of related Schedules and Annexes, and various regulatory matters in connection with derivative transactions.

Spencer was a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Kimberly Jolson of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and Justice Michael P. Donnelly of the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Spencer received her J.D. cum laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she was the symposium editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.  She was also a recipient of the Eminent Scholar Award.  She earned her B.A. summa cum laude in psychology with a minor in business from Miami University.
