Maggie E. Martin

Maggie is an associate in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the intellectual property (IP) group.  She has experience prosecuting pending patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and procuring patents in technology areas related to 5G telecommunications, semiconductors, AI/ML software, optics, internet and data systems, and carbon capture and sequestration.  Maggie has also provided patent landscape analysis, freedom to operate analysis and due diligence services.

Maggie received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center where she was a member of the Moot Court Team.  She also received her B.S. cum laude in geophysics and a minor in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma.
