Briscoe Named to Lawyers of Color’s Southwest Region “Hot List”
Vorys is pleased to announce that Tiffany Bingham Briscoe, a partner in the Houston office and a member of the litigation group, has been named to the Lawyers of Color “Hot List” for the Southwest region. The Southwest “Hot List” includes 100 early-to mid-career minority attorneys under the age of 40 who are excelling in the legal profession.
The “Hot List” honorees were selected by a committee comprised of the editorial staff and advisers, as well as law school fellows and interns, who reviewed nominations and researched bar publications and legal blogs to identify promising candidates. Selections were also based on research that identified attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments or were active in their legal communities.
Briscoe’s practice encompasses litigation and trial work in premises liability, products liability, and employee wrongful death cases throughout Texas. An experienced litigator, she also handles commercial litigation matters, including the representation of financial and lending institutions in real estate litigation cases. In addition, Briscoe has significant appellate experience before several intermediate Texas courts of appeal, the Texas Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She also serves as national counsel for a Fortune 500 company overseeing litigation in Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.
