Carter M. Stewart Named to Forty Under 40 Class of 2008
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is proud to announce Carter M. Stewart has been selected as a member of the Columbus Business First Forty Under 40 class of 2008. Mr. Stewart was selected from a competitive pool of more than 400 nominees, as one of the community’s next generation of leaders and innovators.
Stewart was recently honored by the John Mercer Langston Bar Association with its Emerging Leader Award, and is actively involved in a number of community organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association and received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, his M.A. from Columbia University and his B.A. from Stanford University.
As a member of the litigation group, Stewart specializes in complex litigation matters and has experience in commercial litigation, criminal defense, antitrust, and education law. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of California, he prosecuted a wide range of cases, including money laundering, illegal immigration, narcotics possession, and the unlawful distribution of performance-enhancing drugs to professional athletes.
