Columbus Bar Association Honors Norton Webster with Professionalism Award
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Norton Webster, a retired of counsel, has been awarded the Columbus Bar Association’s Professionalism Award. This is one of the highest awards given by the Columbus Bar Association (CBA) and is presented annually to an attorney in recognition of exceptional dedication to the standards of the profession and for demonstrated integrity and humanitarian concern.
Mr. Webster was presented this honor at the CBA Annual Meeting on June 8, 2007. This is the third time he has been the recipient of an award from the CBA. In 1994, he was awarded the Columbus Bar Association Bar Service Medal, which is the highest award given by the association; and in 1980, he was presented by the CBA with its Community Service Award.
As Of Counsel in the Columbus office, Mr. Webster practices on a broad range of legal issues including government legislation, administrative law, corporate law and real estate law.
Mr. Webster is a recipient of the Ohio State University Distinguished Affirmative Action Award for his participation in creating an affirmative action program to increase the number of minority attorneys in large law firms. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
