Donato Receives International Legal Technology Association Leadership Award
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Brian Donato, the firm’s CIO, was awarded the 2016 International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) Leadership Award.
ILTA gives awards through its Distinguished Peer Award program, which recognizes premiership and provides a forum for peer-nominated, peer-judged innovations in technology. Each year, the association honors one individual, “who leads transformational and innovative change, collaborates with other leaders and cultivates new leaders within their organization,” with the Leadership Award.
Donato has worked in the field of information technology for 30 years. He has extensive experience with process reengineering, information security and technology adoption, and has led several significant technical and process redesign efforts during his nearly 20 years at Vorys. Donato also frequently provides technical consultation to the firm’s attorneys and clients on topics such as data analysis, computer forensic investigation, data security, electronic records retention, and other information governance related topics.
In addition to his work at the firm, Donato currently serves on the LegalSEC steering committee for ILTA and also for the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium. He frequently publishes and speaks on IT and IG topics.
