Ford Discusses Best Practices For Using Email in the Workplace with News 92FM Houston

Jackie Ford, a partner in the Vorys Houston and Columbus offices, participated in an interview with News 92FM Houston about the proper use of electronic communication in and out of the workplace. In the aftermath of the email scandal involving former CIA director David Petraeus, Ford reminded listeners that employers have the right to review the work emails of their employees at any time, without the employee's permission.  She also said that emails sent using private systems, such as Yahoo! or Gmail, can also be discoverable in litigation and/or by the government through a warrant or subpoena.
