Gibson Discusses Cyberbullying and Internet Issues on Morning News Program
Whitney Gibson, a partner in the Vorys Cincinnati office and the leader of the firm’s internet defamation group, was a guest on the FOX19 Morning Show. He discussed prevalence of social media use by teenagers and the consequences inappropriate behavior online can have on a teen’s college and/or job applications.
Gibson said that he often tells parents and teens to think about whether a social media post passes the “front page test,” meaning, would the poster be comfortable is their post made it to the front page of a major newspaper. He also discussed cyberbullying.
