Ingram Quoted in Lima News Story titled “$300,000 Kewpee Wins Big in Land Feud”
Bruce Ingram, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office, was quoted in a Lima News on victory Vorys litigators achieved on behalf of a Lima business.
The story states:
“After a little more than two hours of deliberation, the eight-person jury in the case between Kewpee hamburgers and the Ohio Department of Transportation returned Wednesday afternoon with a finding giving restaurant owners Harry and Myrna Shutt $300,000 for the 8-foot swath of land the state took during the widening of Allentown Road.
The outcome was all but inevitable, according to attorneys for the restaurant.
“We were very hopeful that the jury would see the case our way. It’s what we expected,” said attorney Bruce Ingram. “We’re very pleased that the jury saw what happened and the Shutts received just compensation.”
