MultiCultural Law Magazine names Vorys top law firm for diversity
MultiCultural Law Magazine has named Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP a top law firm for diversity for the third consecutive year. Vorys is recognized in the magazine’s rankings of the Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity, The Top 100 Law Firms for Women, and The Top 25 Law Firms for African-Americans.
Vorys was among the first law firms in Ohio to hire women and African-American attorneys and has continued this commitment through the years, recruiting and promoting lawyers of all backgrounds. Vorys’ Diversity Committee brings together partners and associates to develop and implement strategies for attracting, retaining and promoting a diverse team of professionals and staff and to regularly evaluate the effectiveness of those strategies. The committee works with Vorys’ leadership to encourage open dialogue on diversity issues and to maintain an environment in which diversity of all types can flourish.
“It is an honor to see Vorys recognized for its diversity efforts for a third consecutive year,” said Frederick L. Ransier, chair of the Diversity Committee. “It is important that we build upon our history as a leader in the field and continue to improve upon our strategies for recruiting, retaining and promoting the best and most diverse talent for years to come.”
