Ohio Chamber of Commerce Re-Elects Mills to Board of Directors

Frederick Mills, a partner in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, has been re-elected to serve another three-year term on the Board of Directors for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Mills was recommended by the Ohio Chamber Director Nominating committee and was re-elected at the annual meeting and legislative reception on April 15.

As a member of the Vorys corporate and finance practice group Mills provides counsel on legislative matters and government relations to Ohio, regional, national and international clients. He served as the chief of staff, clerk and majority counsel for the Ohio House of Representatives.  He was also the Ohio superintendent of banks and a legislative assistant to former Ohio Governor James Rhodes.

“I am extremely pleased and proud of my re-election to the Chamber Board and am eager to begin addressing issues such as business development and regulatory and health care reform,” said Mills. “The Chamber is an integral and vital part of Ohio’s business community and I am honored to serve with this exceptional group of individuals.”

Mills is also a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Board of Building Standards and has lectured on the rules making process in Ohio. He received his J.D. from Capital University Law School and his B.S. from The Ohio State University.
