Ransier Selected to Serve on Franklin County Commissioners’ Budget & Economic Advisory Panel
Frederick L. Ransier, III, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office, has been selected to serve on the Franklin County Commissioners’ newly formed Budget & Economic Advisory Panel. The nine-member panel has been tasked with analyzing the County’s fiscal condition to determine if an imbalance exists between annual operating revenues and expenditures. The panel will also present recommendations to address any fiscal gap to the Board of Commissioners by August 2013.
Ransier is a member of the Vorys bankruptcy practice and government affairs and lobbying group. He has served as a Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern District of Ohio since 1988 and represents clients in commercial and real estate matters. Ransier is also active in the central Ohio community and serves on numerous boards and committees including The Ohio State University Medical Center University Hospital East Board of Trustees; the City of Columbus, The Ohio State University, Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority Partnership Oversight Committee; and the Experience Columbus Executive Committee.
