Treier elected Director of the Akron General Partners Board of Directors

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP (Vorys) is pleased to announce that Bret J. Treier has been elected director of the Akron General Partners Board of Directors.

Akron General Partners is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Akron General Health System. It encompasses owned entities and partnerships that add value to the System’s core of acute care, outpatient care, rehab, post-acute care and diagnostic care services. Akron General Partners includes: Lodi Community Hospital; the Akron General Health & Wellness Centers; Akron General Health Centers in Green, Hudson, Tallmadge; Montrose Sleep Center and other entities.

Mr. Treier is of counsel in the Akron office where he practices in the corporate group, focusing primarily on transactional matters and federal securities law. Mr. Treier currently serves as president of the University Park Development Corporation, trustee for the Summit County American Cancer Society, trustee for the Akron Metro YMCA Foundation, director of the Ohio & Erie Canalway Corridor Coalition, and course chair for the Road Runner Akron Marathon.
