Vorys' Nancy Heller Receives Jefferson Award
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is proud to announce that Nancy Heller, a paralegal in Vorys’ Columbus office, was one of five recipients of the 2010 central Ohio Jefferson Awards for Public Service. One of the five will be chosen to participate in the national Jefferson Awards in Washington, D.C.
Heller was nominated by Court Appointed Special Advocates of Franklin County (CASA), where she advocates for abused and neglected children. She was also recognized for her volunteerism with Zusman Community Hospice, where she supports its mission of providing comfort for the terminally ill.
The Jefferson Awards for Public Service were founded in 1972 by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, U.S. Senator Robert Taft, Jr. and Sam Beard to recognize those committed to community and public service on local and national levels.
