Vorys Partners Profiled in IP Law360
Mark Watkins, a partner in the Vorys Akron office, and Michael Garvin, a partner in the Vorys Cleveland office, were profiled in an IP Law360 story titled “Vorys Strengthens IP Team With 2 Partners From Hahn Loeser.” The story was about their move to Vorys.
The story states:
“Garvin, who has worked with Watkins for over 13 years, told Law360 on Wednesday that he has respected Vorys since his days as a young lawyer and that he and Watkins both felt they could significantly contribute to the firm's already strong IP practice.
‘We're really proud and gratified that the firm wanted to partner up with us,’ Garvin said. ‘Vorys is made up of true professionals who value strong client relationships and provide great resources [for its attorneys].’
Garvin added that the firm has a great litigation practice that is specific to the intellectual property clients he already serves, as well as a strong privacy and data protection practice that can augment the services that he offers to his clients.
Garvin officially joined the firm on July 9 and was joined by Watkins two days later.
‘It's been an incredibly welcoming [environment] and I'm really energized to be a part of it,’ Garvin said.”
