Vorys Attorneys Recognized by NAIOP’s Central Ohio Chapter

Vorys is pleased to announce that two partners from the Columbus office, Scott Ziance and Jill Tangeman, have been recognized for their work with NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.  The pair received their accolades at the NAIOP Central Ohio Chapter’s 29th Annual Awards Gala on November 8, 2024. 

Ziance, leader of the firm’s national economic development incentives practice, was presented with a brand-new award for the NAIOP Central Ohio Chapter, the Decade of Service Award.  He served on the Central Ohio board from 2012–2021 and as the chapter’s president in 2019.  Ziance also served on the NAIOP of Ohio chapter’s board and was the Ohio president from 2018 –2019.  Currently, Ziance serves at the national level as a member of the NAIOP corporate board of directors, and he recently became one of only two law firm-based lawyers on the NAIOP Research Foundation board of governors.

Tangeman, who focuses her practice on commercial real estate, zoning, land use regulation and developer representation, was honored for her three years of service on the NAIOP Central Ohio Chapter’s board.
