The Economy and Bumps in the Road

G. Ross Bridgman, a partner in the Columbus office and chair of the Vorys health care group, co-authored an article with Scott R. Mote, the executive director of Ohio Lawyers Assistance Program, for the January/February 2013 edition of the American Bar Association's GP Solo.  The article, titled "The Economy and Bumps in the Road,"  was about the prevalence of substance use disordes and mental illness in the legal profession.  According to the article, research suggests that these pathologies begin in law school and then persist among members of the profession in significantly higher percentages than those of the general population.
