Rylee is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the labor and employment group.  Her practice focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation.  She advises clients on a wide variety of matters including those arising under ERISA, HIPAA, the Affordable Care Act, and the tax code.

Rylee is a problem-solver and routinely distills complicated subjects into more easily understood concepts for clients.  Her goal is to help clients create and execute a road map to meet their specific goals.  Rylee also helps clients anticipate what’s coming and stays on top of coming developments in the law.

In addition to advising clients, Rylee has been a valued member of internal litigation teams, including assisting in the defense of an ERISA class action lawsuit challenging a corporation’s right to modify its retirement plan benefits. 

Rylee received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.S. summa cum laude from Muskingum University.  While attending law school, she was a law clerk for the University of Michigan’s office of the vice president and general counsel. After graduation, Rylee was a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Kimberly A. Jolson of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
