Overview
Jake is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group. Jake represents individuals and companies in a broad range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts across the country.
Jake has experience representing employers before administrative agencies and courts, including restrictive covenant and trade secret disputes, NLRB and EEOC charges, and discharge arbitrations. Previously, Jake worked as an assistant attorney general in the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where he investigated and prosecuted criminal healthcare cases across Ohio. Jake also served as a law clerk to the Honorable David Gormley on the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
Jake received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was a staff editor for the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. He received his B.A. magna cum laude in English literature with a minor in biology from Kenyon College.
